GORDON, Juriah Perkins - Putnam

Mrs. Juriah Gordon,79, died Saturday eveing at her home on west Washington Street here. She was born June 13, 1857 near here, the daughter of Anderson and Elizabeth Epperson Perkins. She married David Gordon December 6, 1878, and following his death in 1919, moved to this place. Surviving are a sister; Mrs. Martha Sillery of near here, and two brothers; Charles Perkins of New Winchester and John Perkins of Barnard. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Chastain funeral home, with burial in Roachdale cemetery.   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker :)
